Artist Zsolt Basti
Personal Statement:
In my current work I am trying to explore flashbacks of memory and reflections of events from my past through painting, print and drawing. These intimations are persistent, impossible to eliminate from my mind and represent significant events from various stages of my life which are often disturbing and upsetting. I find it both fascinating and challenging to use these stories as an impetus for my work.
